Bryan did a wonderful job refurbishing my Fisher receiver. He thoroughly explained what he was going to do and went over it with me when I picked it up. He's incredibly easy to work with and my receiver sounds great!

What a great store! Definitely worth the trip even if you aren't local. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I started this year with no vintage audio equipment and now I have a basement full of it! Love it and I love stopping by Misfitz to see what's new or just to chat. They've been great with all my repair needs too!

I took my vintage Pioneer PL-530 turntable to Misfitz audio for repair and Bryan provided great customer service. He’s incredibly knowledgeable & took the time to answer all of our questions. He not only got our old turntable up & running but he also hooked it up a to Pioneer receiver & JBL speakers so we could hear how great it sounded, which we ended up purchasing. We could not be more happy with our sound system & the service we received. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I brought my vintage Denon integrated amp. I was concerned because it just wasn't "clean" like it used to be. The gentleman ( I believe his name is Bryan). Took time to listen to my concerns and made notes. He is very busy ( and now I know it's because he's so good!), so it took a few weeks to get it done. I received a detailed receipt of everything he checked and what he found. It was thoroughly tested, which made me feel better. When I got it home and hooked back up I couldn't believe how much better it sounded! I sounded just like the day I bought it!! All the switches moved like new! I'm absolutely thrilled at how excellent he did bringing my baby back up to perfect! I HIGHLY recommend their service department!! Top notch, professional with a personal, and caring touch!! While you are there...browse his showroom. He has some stuff that will make you drool and his prices are more then fair!!

I took my almost 50 year old Project One reciever in to have a left channel issue resolved. Bryan fixed it with a thorough cleaning of switches and controls. I thought the price was reasonable. While I was there I perused his inventory of reconditioned receivers. A few months later, he had his inventory sale and I decided to upgrade to a Pioneer SX 880 because while my Project One sounded as good as new, the Pioneer sounded even better. He made me a good trade offer . Bottom line, I am very pleased with Bryan’s repair service and merchandising. I will continue to patronize and recommend him.

These guys are super cool and have ton of cool stuff. So much high quality audio equipment packed into a small building. I picked up my first turn table ever and they were extremely helpful in helping me pick one out. I can't wait to go back to continue adding to the system.

I don’t know anything about turntable repair and upkeep but I knew I wanted to get my grandpa’s Realistic Clarinette 110 up and running. I was told by the people at Vertigo music that they take all their equipment to Misfitz. Bryan was able to repair it for a very reasonable price. His work was also guaranteed so when vinyls were not playing in stereo (a few weeks after the initial repair), he took it back to repair for free.

If you have vintage audio, Brian (aka Misfitz Audio) is the ONLY place to go in Western Michigan for A+++ service. I brought in my Akai AA-1200 receiver for a cleaning, and in the course of cleaning the technician noticed an important capacitor that was ready to blow and replaced it. Receiver sounds incredible now! Bryan has hands-on experience with MANY vintage components and gives excellent, honest value for your component repair or rebuild. There are also components for sale at Misfitz Audio. I highly recommend Misfitz Audio!
